 1. My industry is electronics 2. Creating equipment for gaming to provide the best experience for the user 3. The motivation for my brand is to make controllers and keyboards to help elevate a person's experience and make them affordable to all people of different backgrounds. 4. Three perception are that we are caring to the minority, faithful to our work, and welcoming to our peers. 5. Three values for my brand are high quality production, cheap equipment, and kind service. 6. The style of my brand is early modern style graphic design. 7. I want people to know that care equals quality and we care about our work. 8. The demographic to my target audience is console gamers as they have less catering towards them. 9. My target audience would experience my brand on any social media platform like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. 10. I chose this idea because I realized that console players don't have the ability to compete with keyboard players since they lack the amount of resourc...

Non-Destructive Image Adjustments

Image
I learned how to change the way the lighting of the image changes when you edit the vibrance of it and how you can change the saturation to match the saturation or just however you want it. I learned how changing the Hue of an image can change the saturation on the image on a specific color in the image and the lightness of the image. I learned how to change the Hue and Saturation on an image to either make it brighter or darker.  The other images wouldn't upload but for those I learned to edit the hue and saturation as I did with the flowers and the image I ad selected for myself to edit I learned to mix and match the image adjustments to make an image fit more to how you like it.

My process for this was finding any items that I was familiar with or had seen before like toys and utilities. What I learned through making this was a fun way to put anything I'm thinking of into something different. I thought this was a fun experience since it was a calmer project. Once I got to the background part I was struggling a little bit and I didn't even think I would find a good one.

300ppi vs 72 ppi resolution

  1. What is the difference between 300ppi and 72ppi? The difference between 330ppi and 72ppi is the amount of pixels used to produce the image. 330ppi is also the resolution for bigger images in order to have them be high quality. 72ppi is the resolution for smaller images so that the image looks high quality while not changing size because the image becoming bigger would make the quality of the image lower. With bigger images they need a higher res so that they don't look grainy and pixelated. 2. Why is that important for the graphic designer doing print projects? Knowing the resolution for a print project is important so that you can print the images in high quality because knowing the image size can also help find the resolution and ppi for that image so that when it is printed it won't be low res or up to the standards of the project. 3. Why is that important for the web designer doing websites? It's important for web designers doing websites because they can't hav...

Museum of Illustration Reflection

Image
During the trip we had made our own book covers. If I had to grade my book cover I'd say it was very good since I worked off of my own creativity with help of a guide. My book cover design in my opinion was well made and I definitely put a lot of thought into it. I think that the museum was fun and the work there was definitely inspiring and I really enjoyed the comics on the second floor. My favorite illustration was one on the second floor of bugs, one of them was a kid, the other two were the parents, the mom's head was cut off, and the father told his son that they were just wrestling too hard.

My brush technique for this assignment was sloppy, some space was barely filled in. I think with time it will get better so I can work efficiently and accurately enough. I feel that it was definitely sloppy and could use some touch ups. The brush was a little hard to use since I was using a mouse which isn't my ideal tool for using the brush tool. I think that because of the mouse the brush was very unsteady and it left a lot of space empty. I feel i can improve on using the brush tool with time.
