 Raster (bitmap)

jpg - compress files significantly to reduce file format while still maintaining image quality

png - used for lossless image compression, it has also almost completely replaced GIF

gif - it is used for basic images that appear mainly on the internet

bmp - display images independently from, devices

psd - used in Photoshop to distribute pictures while maintaining quality

tiff - used to store raster graphics and image information

heic - a space saving format that uses hevc to compress images

psb - used for storing debugging information about a program

Camera raw - an app required to edit raw images using photoshop

Raster Editors

adobe photoshop - adobe software. application for image editing and photo retouching that can be used on Windows and MACOS

Photopea - web based photo and graphics editor, used for image editing, making illustrations and even web design

gimp - often used for making logos, and making pictures bigger and smaller 

procreate - raster graphics editor for digital painting

Vector

ai - file format for adobe illustrator

pdf - saves, share, and prints file without changing the file

svg - used to create logos, icons and illustrations

indd - extension for Adobe Indesign which are used for page layout

adobe photoshop - raster graphics editor

coreldraw - vector graphics editor

adobe animate - a vector graphics editor for television series' and animations

 This process was the same as it was for the gray, struggled to do most of it. The color work was the easiest part, i wanted to use soft colors that would kind of make a person happy to look at. I'm not sure what creative element I may have implemented into this.

Digi logo

  For my designs I wanted them to feel silly and look full of air in a way. I thought that to make it mix and match I would change the type for each letter. The type changes in 2 and 3 I feel are the most accurate to the pencil roughs which I like. The last one Cartoon Chaos seems very childish which was the goal but the type wasn't what I wanted, it is close to the pencil rough though. I like that they turned out close to the pencil roughs.
