300ppi vs 72 ppi resolution

 1. What is the difference between 300ppi and 72ppi?

The difference between 330ppi and 72ppi is the amount of pixels used to produce the image. 330ppi is also the resolution for bigger images in order to have them be high quality. 72ppi is the resolution for smaller images so that the image looks high quality while not changing size because the image becoming bigger would make the quality of the image lower. With bigger images they need a higher res so that they don't look grainy and pixelated.

2. Why is that important for the graphic designer doing print projects?

Knowing the resolution for a print project is important so that you can print the images in high quality because knowing the image size can also help find the resolution and ppi for that image so that when it is printed it won't be low res or up to the standards of the project.

3. Why is that important for the web designer doing websites?

It's important for web designers doing websites because they can't have a banner with a low quality image so it is important to know resolution and ppi so that something like a website banner doesn't come out low quality because it is going to be advertised.

  For my designs I wanted them to feel silly and look full of air in a way. I thought that to make it mix and match I would change the type for each letter. The type changes in 2 and 3 I feel are the most accurate to the pencil roughs which I like. The last one Cartoon Chaos seems very childish which was the goal but the type wasn't what I wanted, it is close to the pencil rough though. I like that they turned out close to the pencil roughs.
