  • Some experience working within a creative department (agency or other)
  • Strong creative portfolio that includes social-first design
  • Strong understanding and passion for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube
  • Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite tools, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
  • Optional: skilled in animation/motion software, like Adobe AE and/or software like Maxon C4D
  • Deep passion for sports and fan culture in at least three of the following sports: NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer and NCAA
  • A bachelor's degree in design or visual communications
  • Practical knowledge of AI Creative tool

Assistant Designer

Qualifications- 
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience required
  • A proven ability to envision and execute outstanding design
  • Keen eye for detail and experience working with the production teams to ensure high quality end products
  • Strong typographic skills; Hand-lettering skills a plus
  • Understanding of manga, manhwa, and manhua book techniques, marketplace, and knowledge of current trends
  • Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, ClipStudio and related applications
  • Knowledge of children’s and young adult publishing field a plus
  • Passion for graphic novels a must
  • Preferred candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.

Qualifications-
  • 1–3 years of experience in Graphic Design (luxury, fashion, or premium brand experience preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects), Figma, Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Keynote.
  • Experience creating presentation-ready comps (mailer comps, OOH comps, retail signage, etc.).
  • Understanding of print production and mechanical file preparation.
  • Strong foundation in typography, layout, and luxury visual systems.
  • Experience or curiosity in AI tools for mockups and concept visualization preferred.
  • Retouching skills a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
$30 - $32/hour

  For my designs I wanted them to feel silly and look full of air in a way. I thought that to make it mix and match I would change the type for each letter. The type changes in 2 and 3 I feel are the most accurate to the pencil roughs which I like. The last one Cartoon Chaos seems very childish which was the goal but the type wasn't what I wanted, it is close to the pencil rough though. I like that they turned out close to the pencil roughs.
