Fundamentals Of Design by Daniel Van-Dien

 The color palette affected the illustration by changing the feel of it to me. The feel of the illustrations changed how I saw it. I saw my illustrations as something close to a finger painting that a child would have done just off of the colors. The colors can change the mood of the illustration. The mood of my illustration feels playful to me from the color choices.

 My thought process for this was to recreate what I did for repetition last year as best as I could and as accurate as i could make it. I wanted to make these to resemble each other as closely as possible in shape. When I though of repetition my immediate thought was shape so I made the shapes as closely related as possible. I thought that if the shapes repeated it would be repetition because I somewhat forgot what can be considered repetition. I overall thought that my work was good and that I recreated my work from last year well. 

1. Pixels are the smallest things that make up a digital image and can be manipulated as seem fit. 2. Pixels emit light in different colors based on the amount of each primary color comes from each pixel. 3. Mixing Red, Green, and Blue to make a different color. 4. The additive color value for white is 255,255,255 and to make black it is 0,0,0 5. Subtracting wavelengths of colors by mixing their pigments. 6. Setting the subtractive colors to their lowest values for white and set them to their highest for black. 7. Adjusting a screen's settings to better see colors. 8. Assigns a numerical order to colors. 9. Colors that are close together on the color wheel.  10. Color created on a screen by combining RGB light.

 For this project I used images of the basketball player LeBron James since I was in the mood for sports. I feel like this project was harder than I thought because the tools may be useful but you also have to tweak the points in order to make the text wrap seem smooth. 

 For my poster I wanted to use Tyler, The Creator because he just dropped a new album that I enjoyed listening too. He also announced a tour for that new album which excited me so I thought to use that for this project. I chose to do this because out of the three sketches I chose this one seemed the easiest and looked the best. The idea that I had was to have everything blend in since its all the same color in all the images for the album. Everything other than the price was information that Tyler gave for his tour. I decided to have the ticket price as $30 because it seemed like an affordable price.

 This project was simple and a little interesting. The project was somewhat confusing in the starts since I didn't know how to use the paragraph tool. Once I started to get the hang of it and figured out how to use the paragraph tool it got a lot easier. The project was honestly pretty fun and quick to do so I enjoyed that part. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the project and how quick it was to do this just made it so much easier to enjoy. I would really enjoy to have another project like this because of the simplicity of it.

 The words I chose for my work are space, bounce, stacked, isolated, and deleted. For space I thought it would be a good idea to make the a white so it looks like an empty space. For bounce i thought it would be a good idea to make it seem like the o bounced like a ball would and have the other letters fall next to it. For stacked I thought it would be a good idea if I just stacked it by using the vertical type feature on the type tool. For Isolated i thought it would look good if I put the L in the middle away from the other letters to make it fit with the words meaning. For deleted I thought it would be a good idea to make the L and D white to give it the effect that they weren't there as if they were deleted.
